Every Friday through Aug. 14, when the museum closes, the Arthur Ross Terrace and Garden opens for cocktails and tapas accompanied by music by jazz trio Ed Fuqua Group.
The cocktail event is free with museum admission, so come early and take some time to explore the United States' only museum devoted exclusively to historic and contemporary design.
Cocktails at Cooper-Hewitt takes place Fridays this summer from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Cocktails and tapas are available for purchase.
