Halloween thrills abound in NYC

Halloween is fast approaching and during the days leading up to Oct. 31, the city will be abuzz with events that are sure to delight ghouls and goblins of all ages.

Those looking to laugh should check out the Halloween Eve Comedy Cabaret at the Upright Citizens Brigade East theater on Oct. 30.

For more adventurous adults, there's "Bugs and Brews" at the New York Botanical Garden, where you can snack on insect delicacies and wash them down with artisanal beers. And if you are really looking for a scare, check out Time Out New York's list of the best haunted houses.

Families can come in costume and join in the fun at the first-ever Halloween parade on the High Line on Oct. 30. After the parade, kids can get their face painted, help build a spooky house and much more, all for free.

Of course Halloween in New York City would be nothing without its annual Village Halloween Parade. Thousands of revelers will make their way up Sixth Avenue as onlookers try to catch a glimpse of the elaborate costumes and displays.

Halloween can be scary, but getting around NYC doesn't have to be. Just call NYC Limo and we will get you to where you need to go to have a frightfully fun holiday.
