Tribute to 9/11 now open

The 9/11 Memorial is now open to the public and reservations to view this beautiful display of remembrance of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks are going fast. Reservations for the rest of 2011 are already gone, so be sure to act now to get your spot for 2012.

The National September 11 Memorial, which occupies the space where the the Twin Towers once stood, features twin reflecting pools that are each nearly an acre in size and feature the largest man-made waterfalls in the North America. Names of all of those who lost their lives in the 2001 and 1993 attacks are inscribed into bronze panels along the pools.

The memorial was designed by architect Michael Arad and landscape architect Peter Walker.
