Fleet Week sails in to NYC
Memorial Day Weekend is about more than just baseball games and grilling in the backyard. It is a chance to honor the members of the armed forces who bravely serve their country.
Fleet Week, a New York City tradition, is a great way to learn more about the U.S. military and to show support for the men and women who work hard to protect their nation.
Fleet Week begins May 25 with the parade of ships and continues through May 31. During set hours each day, visitors can check out the U.S. Navy ships and U.S. Coast Guard cutters and view air and water demonstrations from the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Coast Guard. Additional events will take place throughout NYC and Long Island.
Fleet Week isn't just for military buffs, there are plenty events for children, and Broadway fans can watch their favorite stars perform as part of the celebration.
If you would like to take part in Fleet Week, be sure to contact NYC Limo to get you there.
