An exhibit fit for McQueen

Middleton wowed the world in her beautiful wedding gown designed by Sarah Burton, creative director for the Alexander McQueen design house, and now, the work of the late McQueen is on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Through July 31, Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty will provide museum visitors with a comprehensive look at the extensive fashion career McQueen created in his short life. The exhibition, which is organized by The Costume Institute will feature collections from 1992 until McQueen's final runway collection, which took place following his death last February. Featuring nearly one hundred ensembles, this exhibition will give fashion fans a definitive look into the world of McQueen.
