Though they've been in Los Angeles for more than 50 years, the Dodgers will remain a quintessential part of New York City history. That history is being celebrated at the "Home Base: Memories of the Brooklyn Dodgers at Ebbets Field" exhibit currently on display at the Brooklyn Historical Society.
The exhibition, curated by local high school students enrolled in the museum's exhibition laboratory program, features archives, photos and oral histories accounting the story of the Brooklyn Dodgers. Visitors can learn the history of the team and its fans by perusing baseball cards, ticket stubs, uniforms, seats from Ebbets Field and other memorabilia.
