New York is the place to be for fashion lovers, and there's no better time than September when the world's finest designers showcase their wares at Fashion Week. To celebrate this event, and to bring couture to those who can't get inside the tents, American Vogue, NYC & Company, the City of New York and the Council of Fashion Designers of America have come together to create Fashion's Night Out.

On Sept. 10, many of New York's top retailers will host events, unveil new window displays and offer makeovers, all in the effort to encourage people to shop. In addition, many stores will be offering special discounts and promotions.

No need to worry about getting your shopping done early, as participating stores will be open late as part of the event.
