In Loving Memory

This Memorial Day we remember those in the US armed services who gave their lives, that we may continue to enjoy our many freedoms. We remember those who lost their lives nearly five years ago when our city was attacked. We will never forget the courage of our firefighters and law enforcement officers, and we send our positive thoughts and prayers to our brave men and women overseas, with the hope that they will return home soon.

Ground Zero, where the twin towers of the World Trade Center once stood, has become one of the more popular attractions in the city. Granted, it is a place we all wish didn't exist - years later, the skyline stills seems empty without the presence of the mighty buildings - yet we are happy that visitors come to the scene with much respect.
