Resolve to become cultured in 2006
Every year we make resolutions we are bound to forget come February, but the one good thing about living in the City is having access to so many places and things conducive to self-improvement. This week, the Brooklyn Children's Museum seeks to expand general knowledge of the tropics (a welcome notion in this weather) as part of its free First Thursday program, while the NYC Ballet gears up for a new season with a brief run of the classic Swan Lake.
Now, we couldn't tell you if swans are as indigenous to the tropics as they are to Kennedy Center, but if you'd rather stick to the tropical theme, you might be interested in the annual Three Kings' Day Parade, sponsored by El Museo del Barrio. The festival highlights a Puerto Rican/Caribbean tradition that celebrates the Feast of the Epiphany.
Our resolution for 2006 is, of course, to continue our grand tradition of quality limo rental service to our customers, to gain new customers and friends and keep the old. Keep reading, too, for more timely information on what the City will offer in the coming year and how we can get you there.
