Top of the World, Ma!
Many customers who come to us for the whirlwind city tour have asked us to recommend the best view of Manhattan, that one can take the entire city in one fell swoop. Naturally, we are quick to suggest a ride to the top of the Empire State Building. Cliche as it seems, it's a breathtaking view. Next month, though, you have your chance to see an equally impressive view of New York City from the Top of the Rock.
Starting November 1, the observation deck on the 70th floor of 30 Rockefeller Plaza will be open to guests, featuring unobstructed, glass-panel viewing of New York City. With the ticket system, crowds will be kept at a minimum, so there's no jockeying for a good spot to see the city. You'll feel as if you're flying! But don't wait too long, as the deck is only open through March. If the heights make you hungry, a friend suggests the Pacific rim cuisine of Pulse to cap off a day of extraordinary sight-seeing.
